Radar Iron has two exciting projects:
Figure 1: Radar Iron Project Location
- The Mt Ruby DSO magnetite operation in Queensland; and,
- The Central Yilgarn hematite and magnetite project in Western Australia
The Mt Ruby project is located near Cairns in Far North Queensland. The project was acquired in February 2013 and following a due diligence period Radar will own 51% of the high grade magnetite skarn deposit. Following resource definition drilling the project will rapidly be brought in to production. First shipments of ore are planned for late 2013.
The Central Yilgarn project is located between 100km and 190km north of the town of Southern Cross. Radar’s granted tenements comprise iron ore rights to approximately 1,100km2 of ground making Radar one of the largest leaseholders in the district. Radar has already identified hematite and magnetite JORC reportable resources on the project and aims to substantially increase its DSO inventory in the coming year.
